RVB exists because John believed Texas wine was worth fighting for. He brings decades of winemaking experience, deep roots in Hill Country, and a conviction that this state's wine belongs on the global stage.
That means building brands others believe in, mentoring the next wave of Texas winemakers, and showing up for the industry whenever it needs to be heard. It also means welcoming anyone who walks through the door, ready to pour a glass for a tasting, and surrounding themselves with a team who shares their vision.

John Rivenburgh
John Rivenburgh oversees all brands under RVB, and has been shaping the Texas wine industry since 2006. A sixth-generation San Antonian with roots in ranching, sales, and entrepreneurship, he didn't arrive at winemaking by accident. He built a construction company in his twenties, sold it, and eventually followed a long-held conviction that Texas wine deserved a serious champion.
Meredith Reed didn't take the obvious path into winemaking. After 15 years in healthcare, she made the leap and never looked back.
Now General Manager and Winemaker across across all RVB brands, Meredith brings a decade of Texas winemaking experience to her work. She came to The Wine Incubator as a client, believed in what it was building, and eventually relocated to the Hill Country to join full-time.
Today, Meredith works closely with a wide range of clients, guiding their wines from concept to bottle while building her own label, Meredith Margaret Wines. In everything she does, Meredith is passionate about spreading the good word on Texas wine.
